**Preferred application method is on-line**

If you are approved for subsidy, you will receive a letter that indicates the amount your child-care services provider will receive on your behalf and the start/end dates. The government subsidy is typically granted for households earning from $0-$179,999. If you are not approved for subsidy, you will receive a refusal letter indicating the reasons why your child has not been approved for subsidy. In this case, you may choose to request a review of a subsidy decision.

The Alberta Affordability Grant allows parents to reduce child care programming costs regardless of household income. Rainbow Roots Preschool applies on your behalf. The Alberta Government is working towards $10-$15/day childcare by 2026. This grant encourages parents to enrol children in quality educational child-care programs operating in Alberta.
